Derek henry with no new contract coming. Franchise tag for him $10.278 million for the 2020 season I stand corrected. I just saw blurb that they were at an impasse.

According to NFL Network's Jane Slater, the team is prepared to sign Prescott for an average annual salary of between $33 million and $35 million with more than $100 million guaranteed.

Really financially stable ownership......might be better to force him to clean up his operation as opposed to running him off.

Really financially stable ownership......might be better to force him to clean up his operation as opposed to running him off. Judging by the list of fired employees over the last few years and the fact 14 of the 15 have already received a payout (thats why they signed NDA's) I expect that there has been an attempt to clean up the problem by Snyder. The fact that 3 more were just let go tells me there is still work to be done. The media (surprise) is trying to spin this like they all just happened. I doubt there will be anything from the NFL towards him.

Just look at what the Seattle NHL team had to do before they announced their franchise name & emblems to see how it should be done.

Absolutely, but Snyder has plenty of lawyers and should have been prepared for this eventuality given how this issue has been on the front-burner for the past dozen years. Out of all options available, naming the franchise "Washington Football Team" is at the bottom of the crap heap. No matter what, yet another disaster in the disastrous Team Formerly Known As Redskins Daniel Snyder-era.

Teamer and Patton are gone (Patton is a surprise at this juncture, Teamer isn’t after his PED suspension). Ready to start practices with the 80 man squad!
