Brother, they must have had the same practice jersey number because that would be the only number that's the same. I'll stop there because I like you. You are such a good fan. I thank you for posting Alex Smith and Andy Dalton's names. We had forgotten about those guys and that is a great catch on your part. Well done. Alex Smith K.C. 2017 Chiefs 67.5% comp 4,042 yards 26 td's 5 int's 104.7% rating Patrick Mahomes K.C. 2019 Chiefs 65.9 % comp 4,031 yards 26 td's 5 int's 105.3% rating A 7th rounder for a veteran qb we'd be closer to 12-4 with him than a rookie or Tyrod imo. Mahomes had a legendary season in just his second year in the NFL and his first as a starter, throwing for 5,097 yards, an NFL-leading 50 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions while completing 66 percent of his passes. For good measure, he also rushed for 272 yards and another two scores.
No other commentary is necessary.

Sorry besides the question of health there is the cap hit $24,400,000 2021 $26,400,000 2022 with a dead cap of $5,400,000 mil if he did not work out

make Washington eat half of it for a 7th rounder and a bag of chips, I view Smith like a Cousins but without as many mistakes made

According to Jim Trotter of NFL Media, the reason Brady wasn't interested in signing with the Chargers is due to "family considerations." Basically, it seems like Brady's family wouldn't be making the move with him, and since they're based on the East Coast, moving all the way out to Los Angeles would make it difficult for Brady to see his family once the NFL season started. Unless there's a "change of heart" from Brady, the Chargers don't feel like they'll be landing the veteran quarterback. I posted this yesterday....so the emperor is late to the game.

if true I like it. I still want a BPA at #6. Not a QB, unless he is the BPA

Remembering back to the start of last year most were very happy to have gotten Tyrod Taylor as our backup for it was the 1st time in many seasons we felt that if rivers ever went down for a bit we still would have a chance to compete and possible win.

Yes I do. A backup is always only 1 play away from being a starter. Bridgewater who a lot wanted was the Backup for the Saints last year
