Lawrence aint worth tanking a season over... I am talking about results, not intentions....... Right, you want the team to be historically bad on merit. That makes it much better. đź’©

Ok, but that’s not at all what you said. Besides, this defense along with an offense that doesn’t turn the ball over should be good for 8 wins. You’re not gonna get what you want. Or don’t want. Or whatever it is you’re trying to say. Or not say.

This OL still needs a ton of help, add in a few injuries to the OL, and Taylor (or whomever) will be getting killed each week. 3-13....not impossible to see.

Not intentionally........ and Lawrence isn't the only solid QB option for next draft. TT could just trade the future away for the left handed midget.....

TT has been making big moves. I am expecting a huge improvement from last year even if TT doesn't add any more players to the roster. Based of Quees/Feeney performance in camp, maybe even Pouncey is a June cut.

Every team in football is 3 injuries and a couple bad breaks away from 3-13. Let’s say we get your boy Simmons and all of our acquisitions are as advertised. How many wins is that? I’d say 13. Reality will settle in the middle and the season will probably come down to a few plays and several instances where a player narrowly skirts disaster or has his achilles snap.

I am hoping TT drafts Simmons..... Taylor and Stick go 0-16 combined..... TT drafts Lawrence.....who goes undefeated while winning a Super Bowl as a rookie....... It could happen..... Miami and Cincy couldn't pull off 0-16, but we are going 0-16................................

Answer me this simple question: If TT drafts a QB @ #6 (does not matter which QB) and Lynn has that drafted QB sitting behind Taylor (meaning the rookie is not playing at all) until the Bolts are eliminated from PO possibility, are you all good with that? It depends on if they have a good reason. Tua's hip would be a good reason. Otherwise no, I wouldn't be good with that. Drafting high starts. Drafting high needs experience. After 0-5 games.

On the flip side, he is only getting over 7 million and he's in his last contract year. If they only got 8 games out of him it would be worth it.

If they drafted Tua, and could not play him because of his hip.....Wow, that would be a huge failure of due diligence on the part of TT. If I read your response correctly, you are pretty much saying being drafted @ # 6 overall means you best be playing.

Austin Ekeler's thoughts on Tyrod, Cam and Jameis-Ekeler would entertain the possibility of Cam Newton or Jameis Winston as the Chargers' quarterback, but he supports Taylor as the man to lead the offense. "He's just one of the smarter players in the league, I feel like," Ekeler said. "This man was literally the first one in the locker room every day. Like every morning, you see Tyrod's there before everyone else. Maybe he's just a freak morning person, but he's super-dedicated to the game. Even taking a backup role last year behind Philip, Tyrod was still in the game, and that's what I think is gonna give us a chance. "He is dedicated, he's super-athletic, he makes smart decisions, and he started for a few teams so he has that experience, and so that leadership comes with that too. And we have a lot of playmakers around him to make his job a little bit easier, so I think we can get it done." www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/austin-ekeler-says-philip-rivers-will-be-missed-with-chargers-supports-tyrod-taylor-as-new-quarterback/
