On the list of disappointments, Kelly is far far down from the top. Yes, obviously... I was responding to that. Outside of injuries, the running game is still arguably the weakest link on this team. If every player was healthy and playing, the only decent runner we "seem" to have is Ekeler. when Ekler was playing, Kelly had better success.

Joshua Kelley has really been a disappointment so far... Kelley is running hard, but all too often he has been running hard into a brick wall behind the Swiss cheese oline. He had a few very good first down end / catches yesterday where he got by / through tackles that were a couple of yards short of the marker. I have been patient, because I know you are hopeful about Kelley. He had 12 carries for 29 yards. That's pretty bad. You know what annoys me about him ? I get the feeling he has never reeled off a long run. That should happen by accident by now. Did you know Herbert's 31 yard run is 5 yards longer than Kelley's career long run ? PS Tell your rookie fullback when Herbert hits him in his kittens mittens to catch the damn ball for a first down.

Joshua Kelley has really been a disappointment so far... I agree with you EXCEPT. He was a fourth rounder FOR A REASON. (I keep having to keep it real for you people) AND there were scouts and talking talk people that said he went too early. Don't shoot the messenger.

They kept a “versatile” fullback who doesn’t do anything particularly well.

Kelley usually runs into / slides through a brick wall instead of running against half the defense that has its back turned to him.

Meanwhile the Jags UDFA James Robinson is a bruiser with nimble feet. Smh

Herbert on Dan Patrick show. He’s in a hotel. Evacuated his house because of fires. I'm sure that he isn't the only one. Winds are supposed to taper off this evening, so hopefully that they can get it under control.
