Ahead 73-58 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Blazers’ title dreams transitioned into a nightmare that is forever locked inside Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant’s highlight reels. Portland failed to record a single point for over seven minutes of game action in the fourth quarter, a span of time that felt like an eternity. The champagne was removed from the Blazers’ locker room and moved across the hall for the Lakers to enjoy. Los Angeles would go on to dispatch Reggie Miller and the Pacers in six games in the NBA Finals. I honestly don’t remember them being that close to winning the series, I thought it was more of a Lakers beat down. The reason I’m not sure if that was one of the years they had Sabonis or not, is because I can’t picture him in that series. What I do remember is Brian Grant trying to guard Shaq, which was ridiculous. Hmmm. Memory problems? It was a miracle finish for the Lakers capped off by Kobe’s mini-alley oop to Shaq that is forever replayed on NBA highlight reels. Robert Horry was amazing defending Rasheed in the 4th. Lakers we’re down by 15 in the 4th and that was before everybody was a 3-point shooter so the lead meant something. One of the great finishes. Both teams were loaded. Super teams

He said "All you have to do is give Shaq the ball in the paint. You can't stop him." He was right. Just a mountainous man that could play. Lethalness. A lot of basketball purists resented Shaq’s game because he just bulled guys down low.

Yeah, but Reggie Miller was no slouch.
Trailing the Knicks by 12 points at MSG heading into the 4th Quarter of fifth game of the 1994 Eastern Conference finals, Miller pours in 25 points in the fourth quarter and gave Spike Lee the face plant as a cherry on top!!
Pretty talented athletic family when you throw in brother Darrell who played for the Angels from 1984-1988. 🍺

Reggie Miller is the reason I have a 31 on the end of my username.
His playoff games vs the Knicks were epic, and definitely in my top memories of being a sports fan. It wasn’t Reggie who couldn’t get a Championship, it was the Pacers, but he stuck with them his entire career. The 25 point 4th Quarter in MSG was outstanding as was the 8 points in 9 seconds the following year to steal a Game 1.

As much as I think this season has sucked, the ending to last nights game was pretty awesome. It’s hard not to pull for the “Suns in 4”, in every series now. Oh yeah, and Cousins is such a punk. I can’t stand that guy.

Monte doing a great job of coaching and they are on a pretty incredible winning streak in the playoffs. What is it? 9 straight?

According to The Athletic’s John Hollinger, the Warriors may be willing to deal 2020 No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman and the No. 7 overall pick in the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft. In return, one of the players that Golden State has its eye on is Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.
They sure like to become stars and then leave Toronto.........
REACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
