With all these picks for O, what r the chances we resign Supa Mel Mel may not be getting a lot of contract offers to his liking in this cap-shrunk year, so I believe that it’s a possibility.

How were Tennessee’s quarterbacks? Did otherTennessee receivers light it up in comparison? Honest question because their teams have sucked lately and I honestly don’t know the answers. 🤷♂️ Tennessee last year
Passing Att-Comp-Int 285-179-9 Avg. Per Attempt 7.18 Avg. Per Game 204.70 Touchdowns 14 9 intercepted passes versus 14 TD’s in college football? That’s awful!

That’s really interesting, also, it should be noted that new orleans had a knack for developing WRs during lombardi’s tenure there

Sounds like picks #77 and #97 were inspired during the senior bowl practices and I’m pleased by that, i mean it’s reassuring.
Mckitty is an impressive looking prospect, to be that smooth at almost 260 pounds is kind of ridiculous, plus it sounds like he’s a solid blocker with added bonus of good catching ability. Brevin jordan probably would’ve been my choice but they have a lot more to go on than we do, everyone else passed on jordan in the 3rd too
It seems to me like they had a very specific plan going into this draft the way they were turning in picks it was like the kids that studied for the test and turned their paper in before everyone else in the class, LOL.

In my opinion, he was THE MOST NFL ready OT in the draft. The Chargers made a super solid pick. So solid. Freak approves of the pick! He's Freak approved and I hope he is here for 10 years.

Not a knock on Palmer but I just don't see how he was a 3rd rounder... He was on a team that doesn't showcase his skills and really hasn't shown much of anything except some highlights.

Getting a few moments to try and catch up on this drafting process. It seems to me that picks 1 and 2 were really solid picks, while picks 3 and 4 were players that might have been taken a tad bit early. I think both (3 and 4) can be categorized as 'reliable' contributors, while neither will ever be called 'great'..... Time will tell.....

It can be easy to say TT went in like a lion and out like a lamb. But it looks like the last two have some unknowns at the higher level, but there is hope their ceiling is higher. on the plus side, we could have two day one starters..

Slater certainly equates to a day one starter. Samuel will see so much playing time he might as well be called day one starter. Then TT fell off a cliff getting too cute with his abilities to see into the future......both will just be supporting players, and clubs need that but usually get it in the 4th thru 7th rounds. Hoping they are much more than my view, time will tell.

I'm sure they see them as more that just supporting players. Perhaps high support.

I think TTs record in the third is part of the problem, aside from KA he has done poorly in the third during his tenure. While I’ll admit that JP was not on my radar, he is an intriguing prospect. Did he merit such a high pick? I think that is a valid question but some people had him ranked as a potential 2nd round pick! At least TT didn’t take him there...

I agree, they must see these players in a better light than everyone else......regardless, the production just doesn't support the draft position. My view is mediocre players, and a poor use of the draft slots.
