Anyone know the contract details? I have mixed feelings about the signing, but i like Perryman when healthy. He's also a great on-field and locker room presence, so I gotta root for the guy too. How many ILB’s are you planning on playing in this 4/3 defense? You must be counting on dumping Brown as well. Sorry that was for TC who wants us to also sign a FA ILB and draft an ILB. Good gravy. Btw- this new dump is clunky to navigate.

This price makes sense. It will be great value if he can stay on the field.

No need to dump Brown...but if we upgrade our ILB's with a FA AND in the draft, the idea is that we upgrade and the new arrivals push underperforming players like Pullard and Dzubnar off the team...time to RE-LOAD...need QUALITY DEPTH here, folks, to get us through the playoff run and beat the Cheats!!!

It really isn't leverage.....more about knowing the player, and straight talking the 'facts' as the club sees them. You know the 'a team might give you 8 million a year, but there will be all kinds of protection clauses in case you get injured. We are firm with the 6 million, no strings attached' kinda talk.....gets players thinking. Glad he signed......

Yep, I'd rather have Perryman than not...just hope we can get even 10+ games out of him, especially at the end of the season and playoffs...but, I'd still like to re-load with another FA ILB, preferably someone who can cover...

I think they will add one, not sure if FA or Draft.......hate to say it, but best to not trust Perryman will be there for 16.

I'd hate to think I'll only make 12 million over the next two years. Poor guy!

I had Perryman as high as 8 million a year. Telesco pulled this off at 6 million a year. 2 Years/12 million. That's another nice TT/Team contract.

Sounds like TT may have used the old Leverage Trick... "Kyzir White can play any linebacker spot we want him too." (AL @ Combine.) "Sign now !" (Denzel's agent) Yep...sounds like leverage to me. Also:
TT: "Look, we really like Denzel, but he's been injured so much, we're not really getting much of a return on our investment. The only way we can bring him back is for maybe two years for around $4 mil a year, with some playing time bonuses and maybe some playoff pt bonuses." Perryman's Agent: "Okay, 2 years is okay I guess, but we were thinking more like around $8 mil a year." TT: "Best we can do is $5 mil, maybe $6 mil at the most. and with that PT language." Perryman's Agent: "Okay, 2 years, $6 mil, with the language, done!"

Yep...ask yourself...would he rather be re-habbing from his next injury in nice, sunny Southern California, or some ice station like Buffalo?
