TT: "Look, we really like Denzel, but he's been injured so much, we're not really getting much of a return on our investment. The only way we can bring him back is for maybe two years for around $4 mil a year, with some playing time bonuses and maybe some playoff pt bonuses." Perryman's Agent: "Okay, 2 years is okay I guess, but we were thinking more like around $8 mil a year." TT: "Best we can do is $5 mil, maybe $6 mil at the most. and with that PT language." Perryman's Agent: "Okay, 2 years, $6 mil, with the language, done!" If it was only that easy.......

Maybe Denzel just wanted to be here and he’s getting paid very well if he continues to play only half a season Denzel did seem to enjoy the OC lifestyle, upon viewing that personal interest video on him that they ran last year. Yep -- sometimes the simplest answers are the right ones. And OC is the best, so . . . .. . . . . . ..

Maybe Denzel can pull a Bosa, and sit out the first 11-12 games of a season then be healthy for the last 6 games and the playoffs? I know asking him to last 6 games is pushing it.
I love denzel as a player, I just wish he could stay on the field.

If it was only that easy....... Froz, this is the Topcat Reader's Digest condensed version of Bolt contract negotiations. Obviously, much more goes on, but I'll bet I'm not too far off on the basic facts...as Flaubert said, "Tout devient intéressant, si vous le regardez assez longtemps." I had to look up 'Readers Digest'....... The back and forth doesn't ring true for my experience.....but who knows, it is football and maybe negotiations are different. You can stare at boring for ever, and it is still boring.

Yep, I'd rather have Perryman than not...just hope we can get even 10+ games out of him, especially at the end of the season and playoffs...but, I'd still like to re-load with another FA ILB, preferably someone who can cover... I think they will add one, not sure if FA or Draft.......hate to say it, but best to not trust Perryman will be there for 16. Free safety more of a need imo

Free safety more of a need imo FS is a big need, along with a coverage ILB, a run-stuffing, pocket-collapsing DT, and an OT who can pass pro and road grade. CB is also a need. Many needs--tough to rank them, but need to fill all of these either in FA or draft...

Listening to many on here, the needs cover the entire spectrum. There are even those that feel QB is a huge need, so much so TT should trade for Rosen. BPA rounds 1 through 7.......

That Chargers/Rosen rumor is gaining steam..........I heard one guy say Rosen might be had for a 2nd/3rd round pick. One area we are "stuck in" is we pick so late in the rounds. He said a 1st round might be too much, but heck we go 28th. Interesting rumor.............
