I didn't see any contract details. Take this with a grain of salt considering the source.
From Rotoworld: The 2015 second-round pick has played well at times, but his career has been stunted by injuries. Perryman has yet to play more than 14 games in a season, and he has played a total of 16 games the last two years including nine last season after landing on injured reserve with LCL and hamstring injuries. Even with Perryman re-signed, the Chargers should be looking to bolster their linebacking corps.

You know, there's something besides his talent that's worthwhile. I've seen him at a few of the fan-friendly events, and he's just a happy fellow. Always got a smile. Super optimistic. You can tell he loves being with the Bolts. In short, he's got a contagious enthusiasm. Nice intangible.

I like this move too. I've heard TT say that ideally they would be solid enough at each position that they could go into the draft with the freedom to pick the best player without being forced to fill needs. This signing helps with that.
