Chargers favored by 5.5 which seems pretty generous seeing as how we got whupped in every phase of the game last game and Pats just put up 54 on the jets.

Besides the test of Staley vs Belicheat, the bolts were on the 6th game vs tough opponents. I think that may have been part of it. Is that on Staley? maybe. At this point I will remain optimistic that the balt game was hicup, and they will come out looking as strong as they had earlier.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think that a player that another team is willing to cast off is really going to make a difference? Are you looking for a half season rental on an upcoming free agent, a malcontent that someone is looking to unload, or a “has been” that someone is trying to get a little something back for? Do tell, which is the magic bullet?

Do tell, which is the magic bullet? Doesn't have to be that way..... The challenge is most trades is finding reasonable exchange of value. TT starts shopping for that run defence player, and opposing GM's are asking about KA, MW, DJ....Bosa...none of which TT is likely to trade. Say TT approaches Chicago, expressing interest in Ogletree, and gets a response of say Adderly and Joshua Palmer....and some late round picks..... How much does that trade affect now....or the future, on either club. GM's talk quite often, names get thrown around, trades are rare.....

KC is mortal, we are at the top of the AFCW but the Raiders are winning games too. This is the perfect time to add some help IF IT IS OUT THERE, time to be aggressive. Esp if alot of these contributing players come for the cost of later round picks. I'm just sayin...

Remember Freaky's first lesson ??: GM's trade contracts, not players. This really answer's the theme on this thread about "malcontent's, and meany players". That is not always the case or the reality behind the scenes. Often it is a team knowing they have a rebuild coming up, and they want to move a fat contract $$$ for draft picks.

If we have our starters on defense in the game then yes we LIKELY ARE 1 player away IMHO, especially if that player is a quality DL or Linebacker. A fourth through seventh round pick is not selling the future for an immediate gain IMHO. That's an easy cop out reply...
