Honestly other than a F.S somewhere in the later rounds I want beef all draft.Fix these lines already TT since he aint gonna do it in free agency. King of Draft Geeks will throw you guys some help: Deep pool at Safety, and the position always drops. We can get one at 60. Keep an eye on Trenchers. Look for 2 things: There will be runs on them. If you want 1st Round graded trenchers, we better grab them in the first. They will not be around at 60. You are welcome.

Just thought I would check in. I read an article and the guy seemed to have a history, know what he was talking about, and I liked his players analysis. He said he liked Savage best of all safeties in the draft !!
I like the name.
Maryland played Savage as a combination safety. Covered slot receivers, supports the run real well, covered RB's out of the backfield, bubble screen help... Didn't play a lot of deep safety or center field FS (like what Gus employs). But then again, none of these top safeties did much of that. The college coaches bring their best safeties up closer to the LOS so they can contribute in many ways. Look for instincts and speed. Juan Thornhill, Jonathan Abram, and Savage have those traits IMO. I would be willing to take any of those 3 in the late 2nd round... depending on who is still on the board at other positions. If he and others like him don't play deep or center why would the bolts draft someone who isn't going to fit the scheme

You do not turn away from talent. There are two ways you can adapt. You fit the scheme to them (Derwin James), or you know their skills translates to what you do up front. Just because they were slightly made to do something else in college, doesn't mean they can't do it at all.
Cream rises baby. Bosa for the win.

If they never did it in college, doesn't mean they can do it all either. I can't see how constantly changing your scheme to fit players is going to be effective. The bolts didn't have the players to play the PATS they way they needed to. They were destroyed as a result.

You people should literally be paying me to write. Literally.
I can't explain it any better than I have. ....I'll make one clarification for you, graciously on my part I assure you. Since you and frozen have managed to piss Woodeye off, I suppose I have to fill in a little. Why I am lowering myself to actual work is beyond me. Believe me.
It. Is. The. Staffs. Job. To. Know. Does John Doe have the skill set we need to play the position OUR WAY. Stop right there ! Not frozenmargarita's call, not Wood's call, etc etc. THE STAFF'S CALL. The paid for professional football staff. Don't fall into the traps. The staff knows talent, and how to fit the talent in. Opinion: Both of our Coordinator's are very good at this. Some will say Bradley is better at it. Ok.......

Not too sure I agree.....seems like the Pats disaster was about the attrition via injuries as you imply, but also terrible game plans. I understand the game planning is influenced by the players available, but still......weak plans from both Wiz and Gus.

TT and staff have a record on evaluating and drafting OL that is less than stellar...... Woodenone is mad......is that why he is no longer posting here ? Really.....? I figured it was their mock draft he has going on TPB. Weak......

Draftek has a new mock out......says the Bolts trade #28th and #60th for Rosen.......they forgot to mention Rivers told them he was retiring....today. That would be the only reason TT gives up that much to Arizona for Rosen. Too funny.....

It wouldn't be the end of the world, but it feels like a lot. I know we pick towards the end of the rounds, but still. The 28th pick would be my final offer, no more. We would get a 10th overall pick, for the 28th pick of the draft.
However, Arizona is getting juice off of Rosen because it has been said that in this year's draft, Rosen would be the number 1 QB taken. Remember that I taught you GM's lose their freaking marbles over QB's.

Arizona supposedly made a mistake by drafting Rosen, and now want to correct that mistake by taking Murray, but need to dump Rosen. Well there is a cost for mistakes.....not a chance in hell I would give up the 28th pick......much less 28th and 60th.....they can keep him. Apparently if Rosen was in this draft, he would not be taken before Murray.......as Arizona wants Murray not Rosen.

That has to do with the new HC at Arizona, and his style. Its not the sentiment of all 32 teams.
