Speaking of WR, isn't there a kid out of Stanford that is a big guy (like Vincent), that could fit that need? Yes his name is J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. He's 6-2 - 225 but is a little slow running around a 4.57 40. However, he is a big, strong target who plays like he's big and strong and gets more and more dangerous the closer he gets to the red zone. Has Basketball bloodlines from both parents and was a Parade all American Basketball player in High School.
Unfortunately, if we were to take him, it would probably have to be in the 2nd which would trash my Mock so I don't like him. Plus his name is too long so he'd probably need two jerseys.

Thanks. He does sound like a good prospect. maybe he falls because he is slow. He sounds like TE material......

S Darnell Savage, Maryland. Does anyone have this in the second round ? There are 6 or 7 safeties that are all 2nd-3rd round values. IMO, pretty evenly talented. No need to jump too early, my Lord. Wait until the 3rd. Savage is one of my favorite. Can cover, can hit. Good speed.

I read an article and the guy seemed to have a history, know what he was talking about, and I liked his players analysis. He said he liked Savage best of all safeties in the draft !!
I like the name.

1 - D. Lawrence, NT, Clemson 2 - T. Howard, OT, Alabama St 3 - C. Edoga, OT/OG, USC 4 - I. Buggs, DL, Alabama 5 - B. Love, RB, Stanford Much more research to be done...
I do have my eye on safeties. Adderly at the bottom of 1st round cluster. A number in play in the 2nd.

Maryland played Savage as a combination safety. Covered slot receivers, supports the run real well, covered RB's out of the backfield, bubble screen help... Didn't play a lot of deep safety or center field FS (like what Gus employs). But then again, none of these top safeties did much of that. The college coaches bring their best safeties up closer to the LOS so they can contribute in many ways. Look for instincts and speed. Juan Thornhill, Jonathan Abram, and Savage have those traits IMO. I would be willing to take any of those 3 in the late 2nd round... depending on who is still on the board at other positions.
