I'd keep Williams for no more than 12 million. I'd take Godwin over Adams, we don't need 2 30 year old recievers... Godwin and Palmer for the future with maybe another draft pick in 2023. Well, Adams is the best WR in the National Football League. But I guess we can't have nice things. Nice things like if Rodgers goes to Denver we should take Adams. That kind of nice things. is wondering what else he can do, besides earning the Triple Crown of receiving he and Jerry Rice share??

Ja'marr Chase is a rookie and lighting up the field, Adams is 30 years old and expensive. I'm all about spending the entirety of that capital, but lets not blow our wad on one or two players.

Unless they can reach terms on a 3-4 year deal with MW my sense is that he’ll get the franchise tag. It’ll cost a few $M more, but they have plenty of cap space and they’ll get to see how it goes in Staley year 2 to work on a deal accordingly. Hard to see why they let him walk now. That would be $18,816,000 for MW for one year. Yes. I’m not suggesting they should do that, merely highlighting what I think is likely. |
