To me Linval Joseph , Mike Williams (tag) , Jared Cook , Uchenna Nwosu , Dustin Hopkins , Kyzir White , Jalen Guyton will be resigned. Parham it depends on his health

Exclusive Rights Free Agents WR Jalen Guyton Well he and Ty Johnson both failed to repeat last season's success. Neither should be getting more than the minimum from whatever team they go to next year, but I doubt it's us. TE Donald Parham Yes, and we should use him more. He's 6'9 for crying out loud, throw the ball high. That's it, no fancy routes or plays- just raise your hands up and jump, the ball will be there. OT Storm Norton I'll get for flack for this one but I'm a sucker for XFL players so it's a yes for me. He is NOT starting caliber, but he (and Pipkins) have improved and hopefully continue to do so to be an adequate and cheap backup. Max Crosby made Storm look like a Speed bump(a small one mind you)I like the kid and he has a great name but it is time for someone else to develop him. Pipkins had a drastic improvement in his last outing, Keeper Looks like Pipkins main problem had less to do with lack of talent and more a reflection of the position coaches ability to teach since he was drafted. Coaches Dan Shanash & Shaun Sarrett deserve a lot of credit for his improvement this year.

Joe McRugby is the expert on what these free agent designations mean. But sadly, he has disappeared along with our season.
I'm sure he is just too upset to post. He advises people to take a break when you are mad. He's taking his own advice.

There are easy 8 players on that list I would let go bye -bye. Its a non-playoff team, and we need playoff players.
Focus on champs. experience. Cuz we have NONE now.
Brutal. But true.
Even players we like need shown how to be champs. They simply don't know.

You may be right but that seems cynical for the sake of being cynical. I get some of the history, and would trade Bosa for picks as you previously suggested, but those are great players. DJ played a pretty solid season this year. |
