Where is he..... Crying once again...... Oh No......DJ to IR They won't win a Super Bowl with Bosa or Allen......and DJ might be on the roster, but won't be on the field. Allen? They would with him totally. That's just crazy talk. My only beef with allen is he is too easy to tackle. KA is rapidly approaching that age of diminished return, in two years he is thirty.....how quickly he might fall off is clearly unknown, but fall will happen. Chargers could get all the moves correct, and find a gem or two, and be in the mix for a shot in the next few years. Let us hope, eh

You may be right but that seems cynical for the sake of being cynical. I get some of the history, and would trade Bosa for picks as you previously suggested, but those are great players. DJ played a pretty solid season this year. I am holding off on trading Bosa.....there really is no clear number 1 player for this draft, and the ones being mentioned are not QB's. The only way you could pull off my proposal would be if there was that QB everybody sought. So the return just isn't there.... TT needs to find 2-3 top talent additions for this defence, forcing opponents to focus on more then just Bosa. I love DJ, super happy he had a solid season. History tells me to be prepared though.....

TB, you know I look at this stuff from a GM perspective, and that means making difficult projections on players that have been great for the club. Players become not worth the cost, they all do......KA will as well. Being prepared with solid roster certainly allows for a less painful separation when it is time to make that happen. Being unprepared is just bad business.... As Freak pointed out, KA had a fantastic year! I expect 2-3 more just like this last one, then the cliff calls...... That window is very tight.....are you betting your home the Chargers win a Super Bowl in two years, probably not. The reason not is you suddenly have to be honest/realistic, even go against your heart.....GM's have to be that way every single day, or they get fired.

But when the drop of occurs is a guess. Guess pessimistically and you may lose. Brees, Harrison, come to mind. I will take exception with not betting my home. It's not going to be wagered because even if your stacked (ie 2006) there is no guarantee. But I actually believe this team with herbert along with a little more help puts this team is prime position to win it all. Not even the PATS with all their talent were a guaranteed winner every year they got in. I think the bolts can get in in the next 2 years.
