Looks like limiting the tickets to season ticket holders worked. 80-90% Charger fans, even with the Cowboys. When it was open to everybody, Saints fans outnumbered Charger fans.

Unfortunately, the Chargers defense was operating against the Cowpokie’s offense on the far field, so it was difficult to pick up much detail. I did see the Bolts force a few turnovers facing Dallas’ first string offense, including a JC Jackson pick off of Prescott.
Overall, there were a lot of reps for offensive starters & rotation player, but it wasn’t full on contact (QB’s were obviously not touched, there wasn’t tackling, etc.). The first team oline looked good, but I couldn’t differentiate between Norton & Pipkins because the lines weren’t getting violent with each other. Dallas has some very good edge rushers, but I didn’t notice a lot of pressure on Herbert other than occasions where the Boys blitzed.
Perhaps it will pick up tomorrow as it will be the second day of practice before a game where most starters won’t be playing, butI have to be in my downtown LA office so I couldn’t choose Thursday. In the past, I believe that I had always attended the second day of joint practices.

Trevon Diggs was called for an obvious hold on this one. Lots of laundry grabbing by the Pokies defense on the day.
