Rivers had far more talent then Stafford ever dreamed about having, but Stafford got the luck when he needed it, and Rivers did not. It isn't a tough search to find HOF players that never won a cup. Interesting read... Look at the stats, they are not far off. Luck has nothing to do with it IMHO. PR was a great regular season QB but always seemed to spaz out and fail to deliver in the playoffs.
It takes three aspects to win a championship in any league.....Talent, Health, and Luck.
