Herbert says “football is a game where you play with a lot of discomfort. I don’t think anyone ever feels really good…week in week out guys are dealing with things. So, it’s just part of the game, being tough and making sure your body’s ready to go when you play.”
Whether he plays or not I expect the Chargers to commmit to the run today in a big way. We’ll see if we can grind it out. Jk Scott and the defense will have to play great games

The last Chargers game I saw at the Q was a December game against the Chefs in 2014.
Chase Daniel started for the Chefs in place of an injured Alex Smith. KC won on a kick as the clock expired in a loss that cost the Chargers a playoff spot. Hoping for a repeat today. 🤞

Did we ever get "official" word on what the deal is with Linsley's knee? Is he out for the season?

Noticing there isn't any QB on the inactive list. Either heavily hedging, or not an expectation for 10 to go the whole game (if at all)...

Did we ever get "official" word on what the deal is with Linsley's knee? Is he out for the season? No official word, and if he’s out for the season he would have already been IR’d. Going back to another rugby injury I had: what’s in between the knee & quadriceps? The quadriceps tendon. I ruptured mine about 17 years after injuring it in my last season. Staley said that they gave the unnamed injury a shot to “settle it down”. My guess is a partially torn quad tendon. You can play on it with a small tear, but that puts you at risk of a rupture, and that is a catastrophic injury. |
