Sean Payton is a cheater and a fraud. Take away Drew Brees and he is just another guy. Phuk him. Oooooo, good take. I like it cuz its the opposite of current thinking. I don't have to agree to see a good take. He won a Superbowl. I think opening up the second half with an onsite kick was pretty slick. It took a team effort, not just Brees. I wish we could argue "It's Herbert, not Payton that won our SB !!!" I also didn't know that Sean Payton in Vietnamese is Phuk Him Nguyen. Sean Payton is a shady dude no doubt about it but he is also a good coach.
I agree with SDC that the season is not done and we are still on pace to get a wild card spot. 10-7 is doable and if we get wild card spot with the way our injuries have played out, no way Staley gets canned.
I also am sick of no trophies in the case, and if we miss the playoffs, bring on the dirt-bags that win just get them a good PR manager. Part of me wont like it but I know that winning feels better than knowing some dude that wears the right color shirt on a team I have zero control over having a squeaky clean image.

I look at the defence, and I see catastrophic injuries....no DC is overcoming them. Yet, here the Chargers are, battling for a wildcard spot. Keeping them in the battle, keeping them in the hunt, the applause has to go to the coaching staff. Maybe a top DC steals one more win, but the Chargers are still hunting a WC spot, so no dramatic change in situation. Regardless of final results, the injuries will take the blame, and Spanos will make no coaching changes. Which I am in agreement with, it seems reasonable. Yes, I would prefer an experienced DC, but that should have happened in January of 2021. It should be more than one win, but one win matters !

I'm over character shit. Bring in the Killer. By the way, it was the DC that got nailed in New Orleans, NOT Sean Payton. Just to destroy false stories that are being made up on here. Thanks. Love.

No, not really......in the literal view, one win more would still have them hunting the wildcard. In the division, if that win was against the Chiefs, does it matter? I have no idea, and no time to look. Beating the Chiefs would feel good though.....

At the end would you rather be 10-7 or 9-8 ?

17-0. Alas, current best possible is 12-5. I'll settle for that.

Payton won’t be the head coach next year. This Staley’s year 2, I expect him to be here at the very minimum 3-5 years. Before they decide to move on. By then Payton will be coaching Denver.

Arizona is a mess. Colt McCoy has to start this Sunday, and coaches are fired over there for groping women down in the Mexico game.
Easy win.

Does assuming your wife is getting some strange, help you sleep at night? I’m just trying to understand the whole assuming the worst helps soften the blow approach to life.
