We are still in desperate need of someone to occupy blockers up front and let our linebackers flow. We need better play in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I am worried about the weapons teams are stockpiling. Heat on the QB or no chance. That's the baseline of playing D most weeks. Of course run D is a must to make them throw. I like our edge rush, potential blitzers but controlling the middle of the line is a must to make our D work. Shut off the run between the Ts, force them to add protection @ OG/ C and our DEs will feast.

The addition of Davis is a solid move, but we still need QUALITY depth, and that means finding QUALITY replacements for weak links like Pullard and Emmanuel...THEN, I might be willing to say our LB crew is solid...
