It seems more like procrastination to me. We already lost Philon by waiting. Suh seems willing to play for a reasonable amount. I suppose my only thought is why don't we just trust TT, there is a reason to his moves, or non moves...... Can't we trust and still wonder, hope, or complain?

Did you know that frozen says Lamp is a bust ? The issue is not one of wonderment. The issue is frozen's claiming to have special smarts about this and claiming too often that Lamp is a bust. You have framed this inaccurately. |

There were many on the previous board who "trusted" in AJ Smith for years...then we started to see how many of his moves, especially bloated and ill-deserved contract extensions, bloated and ill-deserved FA deals, his feuds with players and coaches, showed that in spite of his early success, he had his issues, serious issues. Hopefully, TT has learned from his early mistakes and seems to be making more sound player personnel moves as of late. But then, that's a big part of the reason for forums like this--to speculate, to opine, and to learn from each other regarding how to improve the Charger roster.

Spanos into the hierarchy of the Bolts, the club has eliminated the 'unilateral' decisions by any GM. It appears the 'AJ' mistakes are not to be repeated, just by that change alone. While I said "trust TT', clearly there is a team in place, with TT as GM being the prominent face on decisions that were collected through that team's effort. I love the diverse opinions being put forth, as they can be quite interesting.

1. DT 2. OT 3. OG 4. LBs 5. FS then depth, depth, and more depth i think we can find upgrades/good starters in FA at FS/LBs for cheap. I agree with you. After the beatdown in NE and no sacks we should also go after Sue. We also need to find another Sproles/Woodhead type. |

I think you are correct,Top Cat. In fact, I was one of those that said in AJ we trust. As you point out - time showed us that we were wrong to trust AJ. I think one of the biggest mistakes Spanos made was letting Marty go and keeping AJ. We may have won a SB if he's done it the other way around.

That's the value of a forum...much like a productive committee in a company or organization...we bring our diverse backgrounds, opinions, experiences, and together, hopefully hash out a finished product. All along the way, it's important to be respectful and courteous. I have been in some committee or board meetings where tempers got in the way a bit, so let's all try to give our opinions without some of the name-calling I've been hearing lately. I value all of your opinions...
