There was an acknowledgement of the injuries, "Bolts were beat up, no doubt."........ Every roster has weaknesses, or depth issues, even the eventual Champion's roster. Having talent in the depth is as critical to winning a championship as having 'luck', or so I believe. You disagreeing with me, simply stunning.......Yeah, that's going to happen when you write stuff like "[the Chargers] were nowhere near as good as their 12-4 record implies." On a Chargers board, no less. SMH I understand statements such as that will get homers all excited, it is life, eh.

I hope that we take a look at Anthony Barr. I’ve been on that train since before he was connected to the Chargers. UCLA Alumni, SoCal residents prior to Minnesota. A change of scenery could be good for him.

A change of scenery could be good for him. Interesting. I really liked him coming out of UCLA, but haven't followed him at all in the NFL. How did he do? Is he looking at big money?

As far as Lamp goes for this year I am hoping for a clean slate. It should be an open competition in camp this year. I think the real problem last year is by the time he was healthy enough to be able to play, the offensive line was pretty settled with Schofield and Tevi on the right side. I think the coaches were afraid to make a change when they were playing well and we were making a bid for the playoffs. Unless there was an injury that forced them I can't really blame them for not making the change. Agree...remember, we did go 12-4, right? What coach is going to mess with that? Imagine all the howling there'd be on this board if Lynn suddenly yanks Schofield out and starts Lamp...then what if we lose one or more of those games? I can see it now: Someone starts up a new thread: "Lynn pulls Schofield out and we lose--is it time to fire the coach?" You mean like you? lol Never change topcat

I’m honestly hoping to look at a linebacker who can make plays when needed. |
