My son did not eat for 24 hours after the Chargers game. I told him: "Here's what I do. I am a Chargers fan first, then I am an NFL fan second. That way when the first fails me I have the second to fall back on." It worked, he is excited for the playoffs once more. Hate to say it, but being a Charger fan sets you up for dealing with failure. It is inevitable in life. You get knocked down, then you get up. Life goes on and you will be better for it. We’re a bunch of Rocky Balboa’s. Just gotta get out of the meat locker |
