If the chargers lose, which I suspect they might. I would hope that Spano’s would bring in Payton. But I doubt he will, he will stick with Staley and more underperforming. They haven’t underperformed or lost yet. Let’s play the game first. 🙄 |

Let’s play the game first. 🙄 If you go back and look at all the expert pre-season win/loss predictions, the Chargers varied from 8-9 on the low side to 11-6 on the high side. This doesn't even take into account the record breaking amount of injuries to key players. So to say that this team "underperformed" is either hyperbole or myopia. Vegas had the over/under wins for the Chargers this year at 10. Just sayin'

Correct, they should have forfeited the game and nobody gets hurt instead of one player. That's the winning formula.

I mean I called and commanded this at least a week before the Denver game. The very thought of doing this made me so damn mad. One mod attacked me and one of my best forum buddy’s called me old school. Well, here we are.
I’m going to call something that I have no idea about, but since Staley likes to lie I have a hunch. I bet Bosa reinjured his groin in that meaningless game too.

Is Staley young, yes. Is Staley an inexperienced coach, yes. Does he have a terrible assistant staff, yes. Do we have a talented group of starters at almost every position group, yes. Does Staley learn from his mistakes, yes/no. Did we have a favorable schedule most of the season, yes.
This is why we are where we are IMHO.
We have a chance like anyone else, but we have 2 things working against us with that viewpoint. Chargers going to Charger, and players made of glass.
We have not played this game but we have been in this position before, I'm not angry at NYBOLT he has a legit reason for his opinion.
I'm going to choose to Believe because what else is there?
If we lose this game in a blow out, you bet your A$$ somebody needs to get fired.

This team has mishandled and lied about injuries, rushed players back, and made idiotic personnel decisions in new and exciting ways since Staley got here. (I’m not saying they didn’t lie before but I am alleging that personnel management problems have reached absurd levels under Staley.) |
