Well for about 29 minutes of game time I was sure we were going to be in KC next week with confidence we could win and advance to the AFC championship game.

But when they gave up that td before the half I was reminded of the Tampa bay game a few seasons ago and even this season when Lovie smith said keeping the chargers lead over the Texans to 3 scores at half time made them believe they could win. And they came almost all the way back |

I'm going to tell you something, not from last night, but from all year long. Derwin James made freaking 2nd team All-Pro !! He is completely over rated and I'm sorry, but he just is. 2 Interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 6 pass defended for the whole year. That is NOT All-Pro numbers. "Ok, well he's a leader" whatever that means, then he led allowing the third greatest comeback in the playoffs.

This is simply Charger football. No culture, no identity. When someone mentions the Steelers what comes to mind? Steel curtain defense, 3 coaches over a million years, tough run game and 6 super bowls.
The Chargers are like that sweet looking convertible on the showroom floor, but is completely unusable in in anything but perfect weather.
The organization needs someone that can build a powerhouse, like the Chiefs have, like the 49ers have, like the Patriots have.

Just keep replacing parts until it runs. The owner is never going to sell, he might if he was losing money but with revenue sharing that will never be the case. I buy zero charger things, if someone buys me a shirt for Christmas that’s fine, but I refuse to buy a single thing from this franchise until they actually win one superbowl. |
