This is my thoughts as well. Pipkins stays or Salyer moves to RT. I do not see OT in the 1st round. That depends on a lot of decision making between now and the draft.
#1 player priority, protect our franchise QB. Yes or no?
#1 offensive deficiency- run production. Is it blocking? Do we want/ need the best bookend OTs (plus depth) possible? I believe it's on the table currently and may remain there depending on how the board moves.
If we end up having the 90's Cowboys oline, I would not complain.

Great questions. The choices for RT are a) Resign Pipkins b) Salyer c) Draft an OT at or after pick 21 d)  I see them attempting to resign Pipkins for RT and Salyer at RG. Otherwise Salyer to RT. I trust Pipkins and Salyer at RT more than an unknown pick 21+. Is there an option d)?

I would be totally shocked. If they do not resign Pipkins, the need is clear. So many different decisions, all interrelated, all impacting the final product......Being a GM is easy.

They may believe they can upgrade at RT for less money and plug Salyer in at LG. Cap will play a role.

2nd in passing yards, 30th in rush offense, 28th in rush defense. Chargers fanbase: We need WRs! Chargers need balance between passing and rushing....... At 30th in rushing I'm pretty sure they know where the imbalance is at.

Draft a RB, or speed WR, or more high end OL......or go out and hire a new OC. Just look at the responses in this thread.....everyone has their plan.

Wouldn't that make for some headlines, and serious debate from the different fan bases. Release Mack (cap savings), trade Bosa, draft two edge.....big big roll of the dice.
