Choosing that particular WR was based on the size as you mention, but after that I think they loved his tendency for big plays. Those moments seem to follow this kid around.....cross your fingers that trait stays in his NFL career.
Round one, on the clock....and a clear decision on the path forward was being made.
One of KA or MW should be gone next year, but also one of Bosa or Mack....so time to decide. The Chargers chose to address WR first, hence not taking an Edge player at 21st pick. No idea if the choice was the right one, far too early, far too many things can happen.
