Looking at the Chargers offence, and the various options available to Moore, which players see big opportunity this training camp?
OL....this looks pretty set for starting five, but the battle to be one of the four (?) sub players should be interesting.
RB....they have Ekeler, then what? I think there is huge opportunity here for any RB, but which reserve RB on roster fits best with what Moore likes to do?
QB....Herbert is going to have huge numbers....and hopefully there are some games with lopsided scores allowing for a reserve QB to see the field. (Staley needs to remember MW's injury, show he has learned and evolved by being smart with Herbert)
TE....Parham has the talent to have a great breakout year in Moore's offence, but can he stay healthy? After Parham, there just seems like the basic TE.
WR....KA, MW and Johnston are as dangerous as it gets. Moore's offence likes to attack the middle and deep portions of the field, and Moore has the players to get that done....Herbert is going to have a bunch of fun in this system. That said, I think watch out for Palmer in this system. I think he has a career year.

Our offense is loaded. Starters & depth. Guys that I expect to take a step up: OL- Sarell, McFadden, Clapp RB- Spiller, Kelley QB- do they keep 3? Seems as if Stick & Duggan are responding to new coaches. TE- Everett, McKitty, Parham WR- top 4 then Davis, Guyton, Pokey? Receivers are smoking hot. Top 5 is the floor for this offense. If the D is a decent average, or better? We're goin' deep in post season.

I'm taking a wait and see approach... Talent has improved marginally but hopefully the health is what makes us better. Moore is the biggest acquisition this year and the players need to make the most of his system.

On offense the only position groups that concern me at RB and TE. Ekeler is t meant to be an every down back and no one behind him has proven capable. I like Everett and Parham but let’s face it Parham isn’t built for the NFL and if Everett gets hurt we’ve got what, McKitty and Stone Smartt??? Same on defense except for safety and edge. Need depth there and I’m assuming g JCJ can play at a high level. It’s gonna be the same hold your breath if a key guy goes down kind of year. We can absorb 1-2 but not the avalanche we had last season

Parham is built for the NFL, but can he stay healthy.....if he can, he will have a great season. No club survives that many injuries.....last season was just that brutal.

I do not know about the veracity of the "most want to fire." hyperbole......I do think Staley did a great job just making the 10-7 record after the significant injuries and talent loss from said injuries. Doesn't mean I do not expect evolution, learning, improvement from Staley. All one needs to look at is that G17 injury to MW.....just can't be allowed to happen again. Staley hopefully learned his lesson there......

We all know how that playoff game went.

I love posting on Parham !!! He is the only guy that scrambles his egg from the inside. Coach: "Parham ! Run this play into the huddle. 'Blue streak, lightning strike, tight end deep seam, on 3. You got that ?" Parham: "At home I painted my kittens powder blue." Coach: " Everett ! Take off that oxygen and get back in there !!"

The concussion injury is long over.....it was hammy last year.....but who cares? Parham needs to put in a full season, or it is au revoir.....
