Elliot is/was still better than our number 2... Look it up. I've been saying it for months but ya'll kept blaming Ekeler... It was Lombardi, our run game sucked because of Lombardi. That's it. You only want to blame Lombardi NOW because it helps your argument... Big Pappa AF been saying it alll along. (I am not calling out anyone in particular...) Ekeler is no bulldozer, and he isn't just a gimmick back either.....but.... At a fast approaching 28 years of age, and the usage he has seen, not a chance I would sign him long term at a high yearly cost.

FWIW PFF stats: www.pff.com/news/nfl-offensive-line-rankings-week-15-2022Sacks Allowed Salyer 5, Feiler 5, Zion 5 Pipkins 2, Sarell 2 Linsley 0, Hall 0 Where were the rest charged? RB, FB, TE missed blocks? Lousy O calls? Anyway, we have a major upgrade at LT. Slater and Linsley are elite. LG Zion, RG Salyer, RT Pipkins- not chopped liver. Kellen Moore vs Brian Schottenheimer for best offensive blocking scheme, play caller. 2022 is in the books. 2023 TBD.

Maybe in a few years or so, Coach Moore could run a team as a HC! If he continues to thrive.

I will wear a cheerleaders outfit and wave pom poms (for the second time this week btw). Drink the koolaid ! Herbert is better than Mahomes. Allen is better than Justin Jefferson. Joey Bosa is better than Nick Bosa. The Chargers oline has been better than Dallas oline. Whatever you want I'll play along. None of it is true, but I'll play I'll play !!

No we both agree on all of that. Just out of curiosity though, if teams were reversed would Mahomes be Mahomes and would Hebert have rings?

Man, that parallel universe stuff is mind boggling- if Miami would've taken Herbert before us and we were left with Tua, would Herbert have multiple concussions and Tua set rookie QB records? Would the Dolphins fire their coach after Herbert's first year, get a crappy new head coach and go on to get embarrassed in their first playoff game together? Would the Chargers end up with Tyreek Hill to pair with Slayer and MW (with Tua the QB here)? Crazy thinking with unlimited variations!

I will say Herbert would have at least been to a Superbowl perhaps one win. Mahomes would mostly be Mahomes, but not necessarily the same top success. The difference: Andy Reid versus our head coaches.

If Rivers had been on Pittsburgh or the NY Giants, would he have the 2 rings Ben and Eli have. It’s a question for losers

Rivers at Pitt would have won a SB. The story goes Pitt wanted Rivers but we snatched him up. Pitt picked later and selected Big Ben.

Hence the moves Zion to LG where he played in college, Salyer to RG where his range is not a handicap when elite LT Slater replaces him outside. There is no argument re Dallas OL was better than Chargers OL in 2022. With changes to both teams coaches and players, my projection is that we will be equal or better in the coming season. Your disagreement is your choice. Same here. Proof available next Feb.

Do everything Slater tells you to do !!!
