You guys nailed the bright spots. I was somewhat disappointed in Duggan though... He looked lost out there and the game too fast for him. Rookie.....and at QB.....the game probably did look fast for him.

Is that supposed to be a pass? How do you explain Stetson or Brock Purdy last year? All the other rookie QB's who stepped up in the past? Yea he is a rookie but he did not look prepared or ready for the NFL. I expect a better game next week, Moore has his work cut out for him.

All the other rookie QB's who stepped up in the past? Yea he is a rookie but he did not look prepared or ready for the NFL. I expect a better game next week, Moore has his work cut out for him. Not too sure I would characterize it as a 'pass', more like an acknowledgement of how big the jump is. Yes, some players make the jump much more easily than others, but it wasn't too long ago that people were wondering about Stick. Pretty certain Moore is focused on Herbert, while Nuss is dealing with Duggan.

You saw why the national championship game was 65-7. Stetson Bennett looked smooth and poised. Duggan not so much. In his defense the OL wasn’t protecting him. I think Moore should have given him more designed runs from the start to slow those guys down |

Can we cut Roundtree today and keep Dotson. While Roundtree is clearly nothing special, it has only been one game, Dotson looked good....in one game.

I'd take just one from him. If Dotson can keep it up I think the decision making at RB 2-3 will be extremely tough. Do you keep 2nd year Spiller? I'd say so, do you keep Kelley who seems to be improving every year... Hmmm maybe? Do we normally keep 3 RB's on the active roster? I think Dotson could be the surprise of preseason, but you are right its only one game. If Dotson can become our Pacheco I'll be thrilled.

I like what appeared to be really good speed from Dotson. The emergence of Dotson is great for an underachieving group of RB's after Ekeler. Not too sure about Spiller, Kelly, or....Roundtree! They all are just ok.

That's something to watch from Dotson over the joint practices and the two remaining exhibition games.
