Injuries come with the territory, do they not? Name an NFL player with zero injury history......Oh, Chargers have one in Stick. Injuries do come with the territory and so do contracts, no? If you had to choose between KA and MW next season, who would you pick? One is healthy and one is not, so..... Your point still stands, as contracts will play a part in any decisions made next off season.

It is time for Palmer and QJ to step up. RB is a bigger concern than WR. Who can we get? Get the blocking, play calling right, Kelley, Dotson, Spiller can move the ball. Minny's blitz was hard to run against. In which reality? Certainly not ours...

One in which the OL, TEs, etc make their blocks. Kelley had better ypc than Ek in several games last year. If all our opponents bring 5-7 man pressure, our pass game will dominate.

Kelley had a good game against Miami when he wasn't carrying the load, that's it. Spiller is wasting a roster spot, he has 3 total snaps.
Kelley is far too inconsistent and gets stuffed like Twinkie.
We need a better option at #2 RB.

Minny's blitz was hard to run against. My feeling, too. The blitz was coming up the middle... right into the running lanes. Kelley was very good at picking up the blitzes @minni in the passing game. When asked why Coach McDaniels didn't go for the TD on 4th down, he replied, "You're going to need a FG eventually."
The score was 23-15 at the time...

Devonte Adams killed us last year and Bosa said Josh Jacobs is the best RB in the game. Jacobs hasn’t looked up to speed yet but after Minn ran when they wanted to I would expect the Raiders to give us a heavy dose of Josh especially with the QB sitch in flux. Maxx Crosby is too much for Pipkens so he’s gonna need help. I haven’t seen a single down of Raiders football this season so I have no idea what else is going on with that team. I think we’ll need Ekeler. Kelly ain’t it and we don’t have MW. QJ and DD haven’t had the chance to show out |

Against Minnesota, the Chargers chose to give extra help vs the pass and the run D suffered. It's very hard to stop the run and the pass. Personally, I'd try to stop the run this game. Let the rookie try his hand vs. Bosa, Mack, and Tuli. Maxx Crosby vs. Pipkins is a mis-match we have to deal with twice a year. Kelley should be in there to help vs Crosby. I'd like to see more DD in the lineup. Send him in motion (Crosby's direction) and see how they react. If Raiders take someone out of the box to counter DD's motion... run to space. It's what Kellen Moore is very good at...

I trust in Moore's ability to build a game plan that results in high 20's points scored, but can Staley keep the Raiders from scoring as much?
