I want the defence spread out, get them outside covering everything you mentioned. I think that opens up the middle to opportunities for KA and Palmer in short to mid passes. Use the TE's as well....but get the defence spread out, forced to cover the middle with Safeties and LB's. Be nice to pop a few runs, but my guess is the only successful running will be Herbert scrambles. Completely! Once that defense gets spread out, running becomes easier, too! If they can get TE's splitting seams, the game plan will become easier. Will they use DD on jet sweeps...? Will they get him in motion...? Will they take a deep shot with him a couple of times...? Fingers crossed. Chargers have the talent at the skill positions to spread out, making every place on the field a potential for the attack, and creating plenty of room for YAC. The Raider defence will live and die on the ability to successfully pressure Herbert with their DL. This game is really about OL/DL challenges. They bring a blitz, and Herbert eats them alive.....Viking tape shows that clearly, and the Vikings are a more talented defence than Raiders.
