Sounds like Chargers are signing a WR from another teams’s practice squad. Forgot the name Kellen Moore fans, what happened to our new improved run game? We’ve rushed for 90 yards the last 2 games Kellen Moore detractors, how many points per game is his offence putting up? To answer your question, against Minne at least, the response to heavy blitz is passing. Did you see Herbert's statistics......

Shame about MW. Guess we’ll see right away if the QJ pick was worthy of a #1. Agree with freak that Doss should get elevated. Hopefully Guyton is back after the bye ALWAYS a wise post. But I was asking about options ? Free agency ? IDK who is out there . The guy they supposedly signed is Simi Fehoko. |

But if we can only run against a light box like Miami presented then the run game hasn’t really been fixed despite the heavy OL investment I think that it is too early to characterize it as "we can only run against a light box"...... Cherry picking individual play calls seems unfair. Both clubs have talented players, some calls work, some do not. The addition of Moore has appeared to be a very wise hire, that said, it is only three games, eh

Cherry picking individual play calls seems unfair. Both clubs have talented players, some calls work, some do not. The addition of Moore has appeared to be a very wise hire, that said, it is only three games, eh It’s not one call. The entire OT series against Tenn and end of game series against Miami were disasters. Running Kelly (12 yards on 11 carries) was a disaster. |

Hindsight allows for that criticism, but I would only say Moore is very talented OC, and he will learn and adjust from each game experience.

The Chargers are 2nd FROM LAST in Total Defence after three games....Staley is failing currently.

Kelley actually had 120 yards on 11 carries if you use the Canada conversion system.

Its a 50/50 shot. Choosing that call with the game on the line is all Staley/Moore and the criticism is fair.

We’ve rushed for 90 yards the last 2 games I figured the pass game would set up the run game. Teams that blitz a lot usually get burnt from doing it too much. Vikes blitzed a lot and stacked the line. Moore should have been able to expolit that more?
