1. DT Dexter Lawrence. Clemson. 6-3, 342. Stop the run please. Take on double teams. Keep your fragile LB's clean. Let your LB's fly around the field and middle blitz. That's how you get pressure up the middle.
2. FS Jonathan Abram. Mississippi State. 5-11, 205. 4.45 speed. Likes to fly around the field. Makes tackles. Can cover with good speed. Kind of a combo safety. Compliments Derwin. Jaylen Watkins is the deep centerfield type, but Abram does a lot of everything.
3. LB Germaine Pratt. NC State. 6-2, 240. 4.57 speed. Depth behind Perryman but could also play SAM. Raw because of conversion from safety. Another athlete that can fly around the field. MIKE and SAM possibilities. Blitzes well. Could be a guy to sub in for Nwosu on passing downs at SAM.
4. OT Mitch Hyatt. Clemson. 6-5, 303. 34 1/8 arms. This guy is overlooked. Has tape against quality pass rushers (Alabama and Florida State tapes). Good footwork in pass protection and for ZBS. Could be a swing tackle. Better pass blocker than Tevi.
5. WR Jazz Ferguson. Northwestern State. 6-5, 225 with 4.48 speed. TW replacement. Small school with little exposure in a deep WR class. Value pick.
6. CB Iman Marshall. USC. 6-1, 207. 4.53 speed. He's not flashy. But he's solid. Played in a conference that liked to throw the ball. Showed decent speed at the combine. Another player that falls because of a deep class of CB's.
7. Edge Jamal Davis II. Akron. 6-3, 243. 4.6 speed. Developing player from a small school. Keeps growing and putting muscle on a 6-3 frame. Could be pass rusher, could be a SAM. Very good athlete that can even drop back into coverage. 1 interception, 6 pass break ups. 16 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. Athleticism allows him to be jack of all trades.

I think Wilkins falls to 28th, and TT takes him.

Thank you for posting, Nutty. So long as Hyatt can contribute, it is a very solid draft IMHO.
I like Dexta. We would need pure penetrator for the DT rotation, maybe Philon or McGill.
Abrams and Rapp have similar grades. I see two different players. I will summarize in the form of comps.
Abrams - Derwin Rapp - Weddle
I see Rapp as more capable of snaps at FS.
Abrams is a great player. He really demands attention.
I would say they are both ballers.
Good stuff.

FIRST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you type Northwestern freaking State and AKRON ? Yes, my lord. Jazz Ferguson: Jamal Davis II: Maybe, once my immense knowledge benefits the kingdom, I can be promoted from commode attendant to royal food taster...?

I've watched some Rapp tape... early on. Wasn't that impressed. If you've got impressive tape on him... share. Abram ran a 4.45 at the combine. He has almost identical speed/size ratios to Earl Thomas. He'll project nicely to FS. Watkins is temporary starter, depth after 2019.

However, I am very happy with my mock, from Rapp to Moore.

He is instinctive. Takes good angles. Rapp reads routes well. A better version of Weddle. This is where Abrams, albeit flashy, does not shine. Abrams flies, yes, but where exactly is he going ? A faster version of Addae.
The players are close in talent level. Late 20s, low 30s overall. 2019 Big Board. I respectfully disagree about fit for LAC. And I do not see Abrams on the board @60.

love some Dexter Lawrence big boy will command double teams and free up Bosa/Ingram/Jones
Would also love to get Cody Ford in 2nd round (hope he falls). Dude handled Nick Bosa easily and will do the same to others in NFL
Its all about trenches.
