Based on how the season is going thus far, I think we drafted a WR too early. But with that said, what are we going to need after this season. The answer? A lot……
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say we have to draft a new Center in 2024. It’s not a sexy pick, but with the impact Linsley has on the line we’re going to need a replacement not named Clapp.
1st round or 2nd round at the least….
Thoughts?

So many needs in early rounds.
CB, Edge, TE, RB, S, LB.
Also, they need many of those more than once.

We need a quality replacement for Linsley, I don’t want a project in the 3rd or 4th rounds.

So many needs in early rounds. CB, Edge, TE, RB, S, LB. Also, they need many of those more than once. Yes, linebacker. I'll never see another Charger Junior Seau in my lifetime, but we need a quality LB to at least help to stop the run.

We definitely need a center... but not in the 1st round. Plus, the center class looks pretty weak.
Vato will be a free agent at year's end. That leaves us ASJ and Ja'Sir... in a league that likes to pass.
We'll also lose Mack and MW (due to cap). We'll be thin there... but at least we drafted those positions high (1st/2nd)

He doesn't scare me... he doesn't thrill me... he does nothing for me. I guess we could spend another high pick on WR... not my philosophy. I liked Tank Dell. I was told he was too small to play. I liked Joey Porter Jr. in the 1st last year. I liked Trent McDuffie the year before. I was told JCJ should be considered our locked-in starter...

At this point I would look at the 2 positions on our line both center and right tackle but hopefully we will have a better draft talent evaluator in charge than TT. Linsley may never play again and Pipkins is too much of a weakness when the opposing D lines up their top pass rushers on his side.
QJ at this point looks like a reach pick , if they truly wanted an impact receiver in that draft they should not have passed on Zay Flowers.

Everybody wanted a WR that could go deep and stretch the field... fans and organization. TT likes his receivers on the taller side. Of the 1st round graded WR's, QJ fit the need. Herbert doesn't trust him yet. Jury is still out.

To me it seems like QJ is having the same type of rookie season that MW had, too early to judge IMO.
