the bolts struggled for sure in first half. The raiders D is going to win that team games.
That said, the bolts figured it out and won strong at the end.

the bolts struggled for sure in first half. The raiders D is going to win that team games. That said, the bolts figured it out and won strong at the end. the Raiders still SUCK! That raider defense is special, this game took a don't blink attitude to win and we got it from Harbaugh.
Roman surprised me with the McConkey TD play at the end. I mean super conservative HC , super conservative OC, run the ball kick the FG would be the play 99% predictable.
Our Defense did awesome. 71 total rushing yards, and under 300 passing with about 50 of that in garbage time. We took the ball away. The Raiders short yardage run game was stopped so much they they punted late when for sure they go for it if that run game is going.
I am very happy.
Next few games will tell us a bit more about of offense. But today it was good enough to beat a fantastic defense.

Raiders defence is for real..... Chargers offence is terrible..... Roman is not the answer at OC.... Nice Chicken Little response.

A lot of UGA fans went Chicken Little in the first half against Clemson. But those that know and understand Kirby Smart kept their mouths closed. The Dawgs observed, played it close to the vest, then reacted and adapted. The result was dominance the second half. This game felt similar in many ways. While Tony Romo was swinging on the Raiders nuts the first three quarters and the Raider fans were already celebrating a victory, Harbaugh and his coaches did what they do.
The 4th quarter was a beautiful thing to watch. We squeezed the life and hope out of our most hated rival. Epic.

I don’t think that either Roman nor Harbaugh are “super conservative”. I don’t buy that narrative. Lamar won an MVP with Roman as his OC. They are run oriented, and want to win in the trenches, and win time of possession. How many chunk plays did we have in the second half?

For the last several seasons the plan was to be able to close out a game with a power run game. This was the first time they have been successful. 1st half was frustrating especially all the penalties but unlike previous years we actually saw positive half time adjustments.

My opinion of how conservative Harbaugh is may have been informed by him coaching an entire game without calling one pass play last year. Clearly I over reacted.
Even if they are mildly conservative that play surprised me and the raiders it seems, So win win.

The 4th qtr is where you need to control the game, that is where the wins come. So good to see that today. I hope for 18 more.

Herbert looks uncomfortable...
Bozeman is not Lindsley...
This is not a playoff caliber offense right now...
With that said, they will get better.

So being Friday evening......time to go on record. Who wins....what is the score. I say Chargers win..... 3 TD's and 3 FG's..... Defence only gives up one of each.... 30-10 Chargers!That's not too shabby.
