Very much looking forward to game this week. Steeler defense is top 3 in the league, focus #1 to stop run, #2 get after the QB and #3 score on defense. Offense has been extremely vanilla almost 70’s like. Run the ball the play action off it. Both our QBs are unknowns, one has been hurt and the other one has been given 1/3 of the play book. However we are +5 in turnover margin and have not had a turnover in the first 2 games. Our Kicker is outstanding and very reliable. I think for the Chargers to be successful you will need to stop the run and force Pittsburgh into long 3rd downs where they have to throw, your front should be able to get to Fields. Problem is you must rush under control or he will beat you running the ball. Fields reminds me of a younger Stroudt from Texans. Gun of an arm and very athletic.

His issues are reading defenses and decision making. Stroud has had much more success in his one season that Fields has in 3 years. Fields is also 3 years older than Stroud. Stroud's processing and decision making is outstanding. Not sure that I agree with the comparison.

Pitt has 1 touchdown this year. 1. I think that is the difference in this game.

I am hoping in Arthur Smith’s Offense Fields evolves into Stroud. Fields does tend to hold ball and slow to read defenses but he is coming along nicely, fingers crossed.

This game becomes unwatchable if Herbert doesn't play.

The Cameron Heyward stomach punch is still fresh in my mind. I bet it is in the teams as well.

Vegas lowers the total to 35.5. I might have to take the over just on principal at this point................ Why would they change this? Nobody making the bet? Or is there some other factor that influences this?

Or is there some other factor that influences this? Exactly the opposite- Vegas moves their lines based on the amount of bets so if a lot of people are taking the under then they will change it to get more bets on the over. Vegas doesn't care who wins or loses (the teams or the gamblers) they want an equal amount on BOTH sides of every bet so Vegas always wins!

There's no way Herbert doesn't play at 2-0.

They count on heavy betting to lose. Say they get a crap ton of bets on KC. If KC doesn't win or cover the spread betting sites CLEAN UP money. I can think of 2 games already this season. raiders winning outright at Baltimore and Patriots winning out right at Cincy. WHEW they must have raked money in on those games alone.

Interesting....I guessed it was because Herbert was not practicing, possibly out, and likely leading to less ability for the Chargers to score. So Vegas just wants a ton of bets placed, as they collect some type of 'fee' on each placed bet? Gambling, such a crazy practice.
