Offensive penalties are a game killer. Coach says that's on him. OK Harbaugh, fix it. Your offense can't get out of their own way. PS: Where are the 3rd quarter, 2nd half adjustments? It's getting old having no 3rd quarter offense for the last 3+ years. It was a bad day for Harbaugh, Roman and Hortiz yesterday. Minter shined. Harbaugh made a bad decision to challenge and then not challenge and blew TO's. Roman? I don't even know what to say. Hortiz' guys on offense aside from Dobbins and Ladd are not getting it done. Hurst is a bust, Gus is a bust, the back up OL is worse than ever and IOL a problem even when healthy. |

Adding.. We had a few catchable passes that should have been too. McClonky catch though was a gem. Yeah I think dobbins was surprised when the ball hit him in the hands on that wheel route. He was not open.
Herbert was good enough to win yesterday but the receivers let him down. the defense was good enough. Running game was bad some coaching decisions let us down but the game was still winnable with a very banged up team.
Keenan is banged up too. 3 rec for 19 yards. QJ was to be our answer. Ladd is a way better pick than QJ. I think we can still do some damage this year, just needs to get healthy.
Ladd as a rookie is certainly on track to best QJ's rookie record. ...but QJ is lighting it up this year. He is catching the ball and being placed in position to get YAC. The backup OL was the problem. KC crashed the tackles harassing Herbert and the running game was not effective.

Do we attempt a trade for TE Kyle Pitts in Atlanta? If yes, what do you give up as GM? I'd give them a 5th rounder, maybe a 4th if we make the playoffs with him.

Injuries on the OL is my biggest takeaway from the game. You are not beating anyone when you do not score in the 2nd quarter, the 3rd quarter, and the 4th quarter. Period. End of game.
