Not too sure I would say the 'Chargering' was avoided.....it just did not cost them the win. Don't deny it.....you know you thought 'oh man, here we go with the 'Chargering' garbage'...... ohh I thought it and had PTSD of the jags game pop up. but Chargering was avoided we won a game we usually lose in heartbreaking fashion

Chargering is losing a game you had in had but the wheels fell off. The wheels came off but harbaugh brought an impact wrench and put them back on for a couple stops and one killer winning drive.
Still trying to find the Canada definition for Chargering. Apparently its going to take me a while.

I was rattled last night. Decades of trauma and PTSD football variety came rushing back in the second half. Thank the football gods for the win. Tee Higgins and Jamar Chase are beasts. Higgins was especially a problem. Imagine Herbert with a running game? I'm still imagining it cuz we didn't see it. Imagine Herbert with just one of Higgins or Chase? That would be something. MW spoiled us with his ability to go up and grab the ball. QJ can't do that. Waits for the ball to come to him. We need to see if Chark has anything to offer. |

Chiefs have a soft schedule minus us and Pit. so we would need to win out and they would need to loose to PIT as well as us.

What you or any other fan thought at the time is irrelevant other than to feed your confirmation biases. It's what the players and coaches felt and thought. A Staley led team would have folded like a chaise lounge. You are just trying to protect your oft stated belief that this team would be irrelevant and only ignorant people would think that this team was a playoff contender in year one of Harbaugh.
