The Bengals stride to the City of Angels for a matchup this Sunday. The domestication will begin at 5:20 PST and can be watched on NBC. The Bolts have flexed their strengths into a primetime showdown. The pundits have it as a tossup with the Bolts as a one point favorite. But, we all know that Herbert shines under the brightest lights.
The Bengals are desperate for a win. They have to win out to get a sniff of a wild card chance and have a few extra days rest.
Minter is weaving his magic to prevent a shootout. Bosa & Mack snap count limits will be removed. The Burrow-Chase matchup will test our rookie CBs. Our favorite plow horses Dissly & Hurst have booked the jugs machine all week. Roman is crafting Herbert run options. Expect a Chark sighting downfield.
Bolts win a thriller. No score prediction.

This is really our first real test.
We are moderately healthy. hopefully the extra rest helps Mack.
This is really up to our defense. our offense can score on these guys. limit their possessions with extended drives. and our D just has to be sound like it always is.
We got this.
Chargers 28-17 bungles.

Aside from the Chiefs and Cards, neither of which ended well, this begins our string of games against bona fide NFL QBs. In a HC/QB driven league. Bolt up people

But both of those bona fide NFL QBs scored 17 points against us. We need the O to not let us down in this stretch like they did in those games. I think they are much better now than they were then.

We allow an avg 13.1 PPG. Strength vs strength. Split the difference Cincy gets @ 20. Cincy allows an avg 27.0 ppg. We should get that.

This is the view I see.....^ Burrow will score some points, and when it gets tight, he won't be holding back in trying for more. Roman can't have Herbert and company play a conservative style....this is gunslinger time. The winner stays in the conversation, the loser edges towards next year conversations, and both clubs know it. Chargers 30.....Cats 24

This game will come down to a field goal and the better HC will win, so that's us.

This is a game we should win. In the past we'd muck it up. I don't see Minter allowing a 4-6 team to damage his HC opportunities. Herbert should have a nice day vs a D that allows an average 220.2 pass yards against and 26.2 ppg.
