TT is drafting like our roster is loaded and we don’t need a single thing. Easton? Who’s named Easton? I’ve heard of Weston. But not Easton. I knew a guy who named his sons Easton, Rawlings, and Spalding. Yeeeeeeeeshh

Loved our first two picks. Trying not to hate the next three. Chuma was my guy in the 3rd (heck, even Evans). Why not Mack Wilson in the 4th? There were a few high upside DBs I really liked in the 5th (though Stick gets more intriguing the more I look into him).
Now Egbule in the 6th I really like. High upside type who should contribute on special teams right away.
Hoping for Ozigbo (Nebraska) in the 7th.

This draft is doing nothing to get me excited for the season... Solid C+ from me so far.

Cortez Broughton, DT, Cincinnati We do need some depth at DT. Honestly, I think he's the steal of our draft, for where we have drafted him.
I think he only played a year in the position he's naturally suited for (DT), as he was used as a DE early on in Cinci's system.
Once he moved inside, he dominated. But with his experience off the edge, he also has some experience there, and can slide outside-and-in, interchangeably.
I think had he played all of college at the 3 Tech position, he would've been ranked (and taken) much higher.
So I like him for the depth he provides the team, his versatility along the line, and perhaps an eventual starter. (Jones, Tillery, and Broughton)

Though I suspect that Tranquill was picked in the 4th round because he's a leader, has played all three LB spots with Notre Dame, has coverage ability, is a student of the game, and had pretty decent combine numbers.

Surprisingly optimistic take from you Disc. All I hear is reach from other Charger fans. I see a fundamental change in the style of OL pick by TT that Pipkins represents, and I really like the approach. I do not see 'reach' in this pick at all. Well Disc, it looks like the FO is really confident about Lamp doing something this year. I personally would have drafted another interior OL to push Feeney at least.
