The goalie likes Pipkins IN THE 3RD ROUND. 3rd round mind you..........we would have been better off getting the Sioux Falls Wooden Indian statue outside of the Cigar Store for 20 bucks and a bag of beads !!
For a 50 spot they would have given us the damn store !!!!!

This thread is great with this banter. You have to admit on the surface, a 3rd rounder, from some small school only the locals that live there have heard of, where his name wasn't on anyone's mocks...looks bad. At least he wasn't a basketball player...

Significantly improved play is the answer.....and who cares what college, if any, they went to. COLLEGE  ? His resume for stopping NFL Sack Master Blasters is repairing old saloon slot machines at the reservation casino's !!!!!

If Pipkins works out to be a quality starting OT, might need to be checking into those guys at the casinos then..... His limited resume is part of the charm with the guy......roll with it, support it, don't get mad and go off to another site.

For a 50 spot they would have given us the damn store !!!!! What I like is the Bolts trying a different approach, or it appears to be different to me. Taking that raw player that has all the other aspects you seek except experience, and trying to coach him up to the required level is......shrewd, and if it works out, will be copied, making it harder to find that guy. I have been to that store, the cigar selection is weak, but the Indian statue is cool.
