PSG1 is in the books, with PSG2 rapidly arriving. Not too sure I am buying the praise being thrown out there about this OL, other than Lamp playing 60 plays. The OT's were sketch far too often, and when the real games start, it could get quite ugly for Rivers. Taylor and Stick seem to have the mobility to survive, but Rivers doesn't and won't. If Lamp is legit and the interior line becomes a strength The Bolts will be able to mitigate any weakness at OT. Rivers just needs a pocket.

With no Okung, a solid playing Lamp is an absolute must have. Lamp didn't look much better than Feeney does at LOG though, but it is preseason, so hope is still prevalent. At this point in Rivers' career, all he needs to carve up an opposing defence is time......

With Dak Prescott at 30 to 40 mill a year Rivers will need a very very DEEP pocket at that.

The cost on keeping Rivers, and others coming due next year, might be a big driving force in not overpaying a certain RB.

The 10 mill offer, and how much these players are getting paid now.
We thought we had a good handle on discussing numbers, but we were outdated in our numbers. So I am not in favor of your "overpaying" choice of terms, because mere weeks ago we thought 10 mill was completely overpaying.
I have favored the player in our discussions, yet I have no problem with TT offering 10 mill (its fair) and then holding solid to the number.
Hope its worked out by the season opener.

Well, personally I think 10 million is overpaying. I would simply pull the offer if he didn't sign by the beginning of the week for PSG4. Gordon is under contract, the club has made a very fair offer, refusing to accept that offer is on Gordon. The boat is leaving the harbor the week of G1, regardless of Gordon being on board or not......

$10 million isn’t outdated for RB’s. It will be the fifth highest salary for RB’s for 2019 at the end of the day for a top 8 RB who has problems with both knees.

What I meant is that our discussion numbers previously were outdated. We did not know that the going rates were going to jump this year like they did. For example, I opened up around 7-8 million. But that was using outdated info.
