Clippers fire Doc Rivers ! I’m struggling to envision this turning out as the first “right decision” ever made by the Clippers organization. 76ers hire Doc Rivers. That was quick Here are my predictions for the rest of the coaching vacancies: Indiana - Mike D’Antoni Houston - Sam Cassell Clippers - Ty Lue

Sorry Freak, when I stated the Heat would take this series, it certainly wasn’t with the assumption that their 3 most important players would be sustaining injuries at the halfway point through Game 1. Yikes ! The Chargers injury curse has followed us to the NBA ?!?!?!?!?!?! I scared part deux.

The Ty Lue Clippers marriage has been anticipated since the day Doc left ^^^ That would be a great response to someone who had a “you heard it here first” tag on their prediction. But Lakers fans especially should realize that anticipation of Ty being the next Coach doesn’t mean it’s happening. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, ask a Lakers fan whose memory stretches back at least 17 months.

Yikes ! The Chargers injury curse has followed us to the NBA ?!?!?!?!?!?! I scared part deux. For Game 2, their 1st and 3rd most important players are listed as doubtful. In game 1 those guys combined for 36 minutes played, when they should be doing about 40 minutes each. Their 2nd most important player sprained his ankle right before halftime in Game 1. He played the 2nd half on the ankle, but was ineffective. He’s expected to play game 2, but how effective he can be remains to be seen. Without the other 2 playing, it won’t really matter too much though.

Lakers on the verge of their 17th title which will make them even with the Celtics. LeBron on the verge of taking 3 different teams to a title something no other player has done. History in the making folks.

Jimmy Butler is a finisher. Unbelievable game 5 by Jimmy Butler. He and Duncan Robinson played out of their minds. Game 6 Sunday. LeBron had a great game but looked out of gas at the end. They all did. AD with an injured ankle. It ain’t over til it’s over

Beat me too it ! Playoff Danny sure ain’t the guy to be sealing the deal to a Championship. Didn’t matter that he was wide open, as soon as I saw him touch the ball, I would have bet everything that it wasn’t going in. TBH, I’m surprised he even hit the rim.

I mean that shot had no chance. Not even close. Wide open. Some people just aren’t built for the moment. Robert Horry was.

If you like high level competition, game 5 was for you. Butler and LeBron played out of their minds. Robinson was incredible. Textbook will to win game. Butler has elevated himself in these playoffs. Such a calm player. Never out of control. Great mid range game, great defender and great leader. He’s been under appreciated
