Bottom line, if Shaun Livingston doesn’t step quickly to get Curry’s pass Kawhi would have been heading the other way to tie it up

Cant win them all, we just have to win 3 more, including 1 of the next 2. Obviously the end of the 2nd & start of the 3rd was the killer, but we still almost took it in the end. Great clutch shot by Igudala to seal it, had he missed it, that game was going to OT and we had momentum on our side. Good defense for most of the game, and pretty good execution, we just needed more shots to fall. Tough loss, but we’ll bounce back and should take at least one of the next two, then it’s back home. VanVleet continuing to show up is encouraging, we just need more consistent performances from Siakim & Lowry. Dear Mojo ! I have what I have been waiting for !! Way to fan up for your team. This is one of your best posts. Glad I could drag you into it. As injured as GSW is, Toronto gets their shot. They need to take advantage. But, I just watched some real guts by the Assassins. IDK............

If you told me before the game that Curry was sick, Klay would go out early in the 4th, Looney would go out earlier and the warriors would only score 3 points in the last 5 minutes, I would’ve said 2-0 raptors easily. That’s a tough game to lose for Toronto. Giving up an 18-0 run to start the 3rd is hard to fathom. I agree with this entirely. It is only one loss but: No Durant No Klay in the 4th No Looney Bogut being forced into important minutes Complete Warriors offensive collapse at the end of the game..... and the Raptors lost at home. I am not saying it is over by a long shot. The Raptors are still guaranteed game 5 at home. Although, if the locker room feels anything like the Raptors fans I know this morning it could spell trouble. There is a lot of ref blaming from Raptor fans....after watching that game I think there were a lot of bad calls, but they went both ways. I saw a number of phantom calls that went Kawhi's way last night, he was working harder than usual to get the whistle.

GSW made 38 baskets. 34 of them came off assists. The highest percentage in a Finals game since they have been tracking the stat.
Unselfish basketball.
Home court advantage just changed hands.

Definition of spooky: Beat them in Toronto, playing Toronto style defense. Spooky Ninja Assassins.

Who is playing on the opposition, isn’t as important, on a night when your shots aren’t falling. But give us a couple of the in & outs, and it’s a different outcome. The bottom line is the the Raptors shot 37% on the night, and that usually isn’t good enough to beat a good team. Those nights happen sometimes, even to the best teams. I highly doubt the feeling in the Locker Room is anything close to what it’s like for the fan base. This team is battle tested, and has a Championship mindset. I don’t get into complaining about the officiating, because it’s a tough job to do, and both teams usually get calls that they probably shouldn’t have. The only time I really do get upset with officiating is when someone gets fouled out who shouldn’t have, and it could be argued that Lowry may have been in that position last night. But I have no reason to believe his presence in the final minutes would have made a difference in the big picture, so I’m not really upset about it. Being tied up 1-1 is far from the worst adversity they’ve faced in these playoffs. Taking at least one game at Oracle is not an impossible task either (The Clippers did it in these very playoffs) and we did it in the regular season against a full strength Warriors team on a night when Kawhi was sitting out. The Raptors are capable of doing what needs to be done. It’s of course ideal to always protect your home court, but it doesn’t always happen. The Raptors have won at least one road game in each series, and I have faith that trend will continue.

Each team needs to win 3 more games. That’s the only math that matters. The Raptors can win road games, they have in each series so far.

First, don’t compare the regular season to the nba finals/playoffs. What happened during the grind of an 82 game marathon doesn’t matter when playing on a short track of a focused series. Second, basketball is a match up game. It does matter who is playing. Losing to the warriors JV squad on your home floor is inexcusable. That game was there for the raptors taking. They let it slip through their fingers. The warriors played the bulk of the 4th quarter without 2 of their 3 best players. They had a hand tied behind their back. I still don’t know how they won that game.

The East has home court advantage this year. Home court, home court, home court.....Oh, they lost at HOME ?
Home court doesn't matter anymore.
I laugh. Oh how I laugh.
Assassins Creed.
Didn't see Drake poppin' off this game. He knows what's best.
