That trifecta of 3 Champs on 3 teams, and 3 MVP's is very nagging............unknown factor of desire for that.............. In all honesty, the team that he is supposedly going to meet with, that concerns me the most is Philly. He grew up as a Sixers fan (Iverson era), and the thought of winning a Championship on the team you were a fan of as a kid, could be appealing to a guy who has the luxury of not needing to prove anything else. If he does go to the Sixers, I would say they have a very good chance of winning the title next year too. I still think the trust & chemistry he has with the Raptors prevails though, at least for a short term extension.... They do have the back to back lure.

Yeah, he just LOVES being in the spotlight as well, totally meshes with his character. Given how much you know what you are talking about, I would never be able to guess that you are not an NBA follower, and just here to troll.

Makes sense... he can then take that impressive resume into free agency, where the maximum he can get offered by any team is $50 million less than the Raptors can offer. He also needs to sharpen up his resume in order to get those maximum offers as well, nobody is gonna offer him a max deal based on what he’s already done.

Nothing I said in that post was wrong. What WAS wrong, was: * you thinking that he likes being in the spotlight (he’s a socially awkward guy who hates attention) * you suggesting that he needed the 2nd Finals MVP on his resume, in order to be an atttractive FA (the Clippers started recruiting him a year ago, and cleared cap space for the hopeful signing) * you thinking he could get more money in Free Agency because of it (there was a set maximum he could get, and he was getting it one way or another, regardless of what happened in this past seasons playoffs)
