The biggest loser in this situation may actually be the Knicks. If he has a long term injury, it could force him to opt in to his player option for next year and remain with the Warriors, from there who knows what happens. Teams looking to sign him as a FA probably won’t have the same salary cap situation by the time he’s available, and others could be in the game by that time as well. If it indeed a torn achilles as reports are predicting (MRI is today), Durant will not play at all in 2019-20. He will certainly opt-in, collect his cheques and move into free agency in 2020. I am no fan of Durant but this is still sad....I hate to see any player go down like this. Kobe came back good as ever in 8 months. And he was older when he got hurt |

You are remembering things incorrectly again. You never mentioned any top players in the game. There was no list or rankings provided. The only thing you said was that Kawhi was a Top 2 or 3 player in the game. Nobody else was even mentioned....until after the playoffs started, when you then said Durant was #1. But I totally understand that if you didn’t give yourself more credit than you deserve, that your BHC membership would be at risk of revocation, so you at least have a valid excuse... yes and i stand by that and the other 2 are obvious. at least for real nba fans If the Lakers are able to acquire AD, what are the ranks of their 2 main guys ?

Meh. Can’t unrung that bell. The Canadian media is trying hard to do exactly that....but I don't think it will be possible. I really love the enthusiasm being shown by Raptors fans during the finals, the bandwagon is in full swing up here. Although I am a Pistons fan and they tell me that the Canadian Raptors fans that invade Little Caesars Arena for every Detroit/Toronto game are brutal and the worst fans of any visiting team.

Meh. Can’t unrung that bell. It’s your right to feel that way if you want to. I’m certainly not going to try and defend a bunch of people I don’t know, who did something that was wrong. I don’t know how many people were in on it, as the cameras didn't show that, but I did for sure see a few people acting very inappropriately under the circumstance. My guess is they are probably not included in the group that has pulled together donations. The only thing I have to say is the morons who chose to cheer for a guy for getting injured, acted as individuals, and aren’t spokespersons for the entire Raptors fan base. Every fan base of every sport has their bad apples within, and unfortunately some of ours got put on display on the biggest stage the other night. Maybe it was karma for them, having to watch a one point loss, as opposed to being crowned that night. I didn’t judge the Warriors as an organization, when one of their minority Owners shoved and yelled obscenities to Kyle Lowry the other day, and I don’t think Raptors fans in general should be labeled by the actions of some bad apples either... |

Even the Air Canada Centre in Toronto felt like a real name until it became Scotiabank Arena. I will never call the Skydome the Rogers Centre. All names just go to the highest bidder and some change every couple of years.....the Dolphins Stadium comes to mind. It is becoming a joke. P.S. The Palace of Auburn Hills was one of the best names around in any sport....Little Caesars Arena sounds ridiculous.
