28th.....Noah Fant TE 60th....N'Keal Harry WR 91st....Tre Lamar ILB 130th....Daylon Mack DL1T 166th....Beau Benzschawel OG 200th....Paul Adams OT 242nd....Michael Jordan OG TW and TB are gone..... Perryman is resigned...... UDFA's will see at least two QB's..... In looking at the specifics of our WR/TE population, it is surprising you would draft Fant @28. As stated, I do like the player. I guess it can be said that talent level is important in mock drafters.  It is criminal negligence to draft diva receiver Harry @60, especially after going with Fant @28. We must address our needs rather than cater to fantasy football whims. The league is trending towards small, quicker defenses. Most do not get this. See the CJ Mosely wankers. Tre Lamar cannot diagnose. This is a no. Mack is only a 1Tech. That is why I do not mock him. Benzschawel. Decent value. Not my guy. Adams. Others like him. Not Eye. Jordan. Athletically top tier. Plays tall. Gone well before the 200s. Please lick your wounds and try again soon.

Ok, I'll jump into the fray. I grew up on Air Coryell so there is nothing I love more than the passing game. However, if our QB has no time to throw because our O-line can't block, or we can't establish a running game and the D is just teeing off on the QB, then it doesn't matter how many great receivers you have because they will never see the ball. You can't have a good passing game without a good O-line. I will concede that this draft isn't deep in that area, so all the more reason to take the best Offensive lineman available in the first round. To me that would be OT Andre Dillard of Wash. State. He checks all the boxes for what you are looking for in a LT. Size, strength, intelligence, but most of all quick feet. His biggest strength and experience is protection in the passing game
To me, your first round pick has to be foundational. It has to be a player who will benefit the team for years to come. Dillard fits the bill. We've recently invested high picks in TE and WR but we've been putting band-aids on the tackle position for years. It's time to step up and address it. Rivers isn't getting any younger and if he goes down, we're done.
HH and Fant (if we were lucky enough to draft him) are both excellent blockers, which certainly helps the mediocre OL we have in place. Having two headed monsters at TE is quite 'foundational' (spelling is bad on that by the way) if you ask me. Of course they would need to be properly utilized, which might be beyond Wiz's abilities. I get the love for Dillard, but what is your plan if he is long gone ? Take some OL that should have gone in the early third round ? Round one requires you take the best talent on your board......adding top tier talent builds rosters, reaching just screws them.

Frozin safety wasn't a big need but he was a huge upgrade to Addae at SS. Fant isn't a upgrade to Henry. Henry is a good all around TE. He can block real well. We don't need a first round TE is why I'm saying. Not that he won't fall to us and why I said it is something Coryell would do while our defense stunk.

I liked Fant as a prospect long before the NFL's Combine Show. The fact that Iowa had two awesome TE's means nothing. Hockenson should go before Fant, as he is the better prospect. What matters is Hockenson won't fall, Fant might fall. Taking James was exactly my draft style......BPA.....now this year I am saying that Fant might be BPA, and the reason TT should take him. His being a TE matters little to me as I am not targeting needs over adding best talent. Having HH doesn't preclude Fant from consideration in my view, and to be honest, I actually like the idea of having them both. If Taylor or Williams were sitting there at 28th, it would be Fant who ?

No......but we both know early mocks change as we get closer to the real deal. I do think Fant will be in the mix for BPA..... Gates is old and slow, needs to just go into retirement. TW will want far too much money to justify his production on the Bolts, praying TT is wise enough to not sign him to big dollars.
