The operative word is really "yet". Nothing is final with PR. FA has not even started. Long ways to go before hell comes. In fact, you do not really even know what you have with Tyrod if that is where we end up. You have to have him play with this squad (future), with this coach, with this system, with this OC. nope we are not even close to QB hell. Oh they know. Trust me to your core, they know. They know what they know now. Not what the future is. We have no Freak'n idea.

Sorry for that, its my way. WHILE Cleveland and Buffalo SUCKED, they threw Tyrod out of town. I can stop typing right there. No one wants him to be their starting QB. Ok, so he's sitting out there UNSIGNED. Chargers sign him to be their back up. That's what he is. Sorry. A back up. N_F_L_B_A_C_K_U_P How else can I help ? "We are done with Rivers, but its ok. We will give Tyrod 5 years and 150 Million dollars." Have you heard the team say that ?? No. And you are not GOING to hear the team say that either. He is what he is, and once again, the team knows EXACTLY what they have in him. They have no, zero, zelch, nada, plan for him to be their 16 game starting QB for 2020. I don't give a damn what they do. Rivers, Brady, Bridgewater, Herbert, Burrow, Tua, Love, Peter Pan from Pacific..............................they will NEVER try and plan for Tyrod to be it. Put a thumb tack on the wall with this post on it.

I only got to watch about half the games but it seemed to me that PR was the same as usual. Great when he had enough protection, trigger happy when he didn’t, which was always except on the 14 screen passes per game we ran. He can still make all the throws and get through his reads at a high level. I do worry his arm strength declining Payton style but I don’t think we’ll get to that bridge by next year. This is where I am at. Not so much the arm strength. Doesn't seem to be declining there. PR is a damn good QB when he has protection. So he good enough to get 12 -14 wins. The problem is the PO or when things are tight. Spastic. I think as a result he tries to do too much, and places too much on his shoulders. So I am ready to move on this year, or next. We are not in QB hell. QB hell is when you do not have a QB you can call good. land the right FA, or draft the right one and QB hell may not ever arrive. He’s never looked overcome by nerves in the playoffs to me, he does get spastic when he knows he can’t trust his Oline though. It’s always been critical for the Chargers to develop a very good Oline to compensate for his complete lack of mobility. Obviously the front office has tried, but outside of Okung and Pouncey, they’ve been completely ineffective. If I were Rivers I wouldn’t want to spend my last couple years behind those guys, no matter how much I loved my team in the past. If I were the Chargers, I’d covet a mobile QB to relieve pressure from my dumpster fire of an Oline. Rock and a hard place I tell ya.

You say "QB hell is when you do not have a QB you can call good" and I say.......Taylor and Stick are your QB's......welcome to QB hell. The operative word is really "yet". Nothing is final with PR. Yes, the disaster is just now being constructed, and won't be served until next season. A 16 game course of disaster.....

The fastest way to fix this thing is gonna be to sign Rivers and draft a tackle with pick 6.

Packing up a moving is a clear indication of how smart Rivers is......he should have moved to Europe, it would be further from the Bolts.

Of course it is the oline... Its always been the oline. You have the 29th ranked oline in the league so unless you have Lamar Jackson you're going to suck. They can't fix the oline so you make that oline stop trying to protect a statue... I bet money the oline suddenly improves just a bit after PR is gone.

In the PO, when teams you play are better, the pressure is higher, thus his trust in his OL and the rest of the team for that matter goes south.

So what you are saying is Taylor will be the guy going forward into next season......... Day 1 Starter. You guys crack me up. You know nothing. let me enlighten you. Mariota is going to be the day one starter. PR will be playing for the jags, and Brady for the raiders.
