The consensus view around Rivers is that the Colts are the best fit. Yep, that's what I see the most. But I think all three veteran QBs end up back on their current team: Brady - Patriots Brees - Saints Rivers - Chargers And all for one year deals.

That move out of CA is telling.

You know, as opposed to retire and uproot all in the same offseason. Get in, get the kiddos established to provide a little less culture shock for the Rivers Village. Just a thought. I hope he finishes out a Bolt.

Thanks for posting

You are firm in your belief that TT has presented Rivers an offer, low or otherwise, correct?

Garoppolo, a 2nd rd draft pick is NOT Mahommes level, yet Niners are scoring note points, allowing fewer than KC in the playoffs. Go figure. I like dominant trenches, great D, good, not great QB for the win. Outscoring opponents isn't as difficult with great D, solid STs.

For every Mahomies that works out there's 3 flops, Trubisky, Tebow, Jamarcus, Leinert, etc. Mahomes and Watson were in the same draft. Rivers, Eli and Roethlisberger were in the same draft. Marino, Elway and Kelly were in the same draft. Sometimes there’s a gold mine True but it's not the rule. Top 10 QB's are roughly 50% successful, later picks are lower %. Many are developed into success, many are not. It's always about team & fit and is never a lock either way. You takes your best shot.
